A very good video on why capitalism is good. Kevin O'Leary discusses why taxing the rich is a bad idea and how capitalism has helped the global economy over the years.
THINGS YOU WILL HEAR HIM SAY
He will talk about income inequality. He will mention the rich getting richer, the divide between the haves and have nots and how that is the biggest problem facing our country today. He said the same thing last year (He will most likely use a softer word like opportunity this time around).
He will talk about the so called successes of Obamacare (ACA). He will mention that 3 million people have signed up under its provisions so far. It is working! Give it time! We will see!
He will also mention that he has a "pen and a phone". That is, he will tout his ability to use executive order and complain that the current congress will not work with him.
THINGS YOU WILL NOT HEAR HIM SAY
He will not talk about the fact that under his administration, median household income has fallen $4,000.00. That's right, he will talk about so called "income inequality" but will not mention that he is complacent to it as well.
He will not mention that under Obamacare 6.3 million people have lost their health insurance or that most of the 3 million "signups" are in state run Medicaid programs. He will not mention that they had 3 years and 500 million dollars to get it right, but rolled out a website that was no better than something a 3 year old could do. In addition, he will not mention that Obamacare is causing many companies to cut full time employees to part time to avoid increased insurance costs
He will not discuss the fact that he and the Democratic majority in the Senate have blocked every major piece of legislation started in the house. He will not mention that his party refuses to compromise at all, al la corporate income taxes. A more involved president with a modicum of leadership would be able to take the republicans offer of 25% corporate taxes and the democrats offer of 28% and find a middle ground of say....26.5%?
